Pelningas MB is an accounting firm providing bookkeeping, tax, and administrative services to businesses. Their team handles a high volume of recurring client questions related to accounting rules, employment, taxation, and internal procedures, where accuracy and consistency are critical.

The challenge

As the team grew, Pelningas faced increasing internal load from repeated questions that required senior specialists to answer the same topics multiple times.

Answers had to be precise, aligned with internal rules, and based strictly on approved documentation. Searching through Google Drive folders, procedures, and instructions was time-consuming and disrupted daily work.

The solution (AI automation)

We built a custom internal AI agent that operates directly inside Slack and answers questions using only Pelningas’ internal knowledge base.

The agent is connected to Pelningas’ Google Drive, where all procedures, instructions, and checklists are indexed and structured into a private knowledge layer. When a question is asked in Slack, the AI retrieves relevant information from these documents before generating a response.

The AI agent behaves like a real team member in Slack. It can be tagged in conversations, respond to direct questions, and generate ready-to-send replies that the team can copy and share with clients.

When documents are updated in Google Drive, the agent automatically adapts, so no retraining or manual updates required.
